Why is Board Certification is Important?
Board Certification requires extensive training and rigorous review of a
providers knowledge, experience and skill in their medical specialty. Board
certification means that a provider has taken a national exam in their area of
specialty and must actively improve the practice of medicine through continued
education. Board certified providers are more likely than non certified
providers to be uptodate on current practices, knowledge and best treatment
methodology.

Primary Care
Primary care is the health care given by a health care provider. Typically this provider acts as the principal point of consultation for patients within a health care system and coordinates other specialists that the patient may need.
Internal Medicine
Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists, or physicians (without a modifier) in Commonwealth nations. Internists are especially skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes. Internists care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients and may play a major role in teaching and research.
Weight Management
"The Real You" Weight Management Center is a program that is designed to help individuals maintain a healthy life-style that's right for you. Obesity is defined as a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater. The BMI is caluclated from a person weight and height and provideds a reasonable indicator of body fatness and weight categories that may lead to health problems.
Accidents
Make sure you follow the recommendations of the ER doctors after your discharge from the hospital and follow up with your primary care physician or chiropractor; especially visit the latter if you are feeling pain in your back or think you have a spine injury.
